Summertime Corgi Pants

The unending 100 degree days called for drastic measures. Also, the corgi-tumbleweeds that collected in the corners of my house were getting ridiculous.

Hopefully the corgis' new look will keep my house cleaner and the girls cooler.

I got the girls to the beauty parlor / vet yesterday and they got the complete works.

Big day for them!

I told them "keep the pants!"

As soon as they got home, they headed straight for the pool.

Floating corgi pants.

Then it was time to roll in the dirt. Zoe needed to get all the "prettiness" off of her.

Good job Zoe!

I think they will thank me later.

Awww Zoe!! Why'd ya do that!!! You were looking all beautiful and trim!!

I love the photos of them in the pool! They know where the cool and refreshing stuff is!!

I bet that pools going to need a whole delivery from an ice truck to keep from getting too warm!

Yep, we had to get our dogs a summer do also. They only wish that had a pool though. Your corgi's are very cute.

Have you shaved them before?
Maybe we should, too. I take Chelsea out on the trail and if it is around 80...I am dragging her. she says "MOM, I have on a DOUBLE fur coat!"

It must be nice to be a Corgi and be able to "take it all off" (except for the pants) during these hot summer days. Plus the pool. Ah, the life your sweet furkids lead. . .

I didn't realize you had this second blog. I will visit more often.

Your dogs are really cute. I'd love to adopt one of them for you, if you ever need it.

Way cute dogs and love the "do's". I too am jealous that they have a pool to swim in! :) excellent pictures, I enjoyed the post very much.

About a month ago, I took Tootie in for a grooming. They thought I wanted all her yorkie long hair cut off and when she came out, she looked buzzed! I wasn't happy, but in the long run it turned out for the best. She's cooler, and her tomboy haircut actually matches her feisty personality. Plus, no more long hairs all over the house! She may just have to sport this cut all the time. I'll buy her a hoodie for winter.

I know this is an older post, but thanks so much for sharing and showing! Our girl gets so hot over here on Okinawa (Japan) during the long summers. The humidity is a constant 100% with temps in the mid-90's. Now that I see how great they look, and how obviously more comfortable they are, it's time for a new hairdo for Sammie!
